Services Using Illumina BeadArray Platform

Full service from total RNA (chip not included), $145.00 per sample

This service includes cDNA synthesis, cDNA purification, QC of aRNA synthesis, aRNA purification, hybridization, wash, staining, and scanning of slides. What you need to provide to have this service done is at least 200ng of RNA, RNA conentration (>50ng/ul), RNA 280/260 ratio, and either a gel showing quality of RNA or order our bioanalyzer service.

Hybridization from cRNA (including chip scanning), $75.00 per sample

This service includes the fragmentation of biotin labelled cRNA immediately followed by an overnight hybridization onto an array. It also includes the washing, staining, and scanning of an array. For this service you must supply at least 2 ug of cRNA, the cRNA concentration (>75 ng/ul), the cRNA 280/260 ratio, and either a gel picture confirming RNA quality or a bioanalyzer printout.

Human Linkage IVb Panel-based genotyping, $26,880 per plate (96 samples at $280 per sample)

Illumina's SNP-based Linkage IVb Panel is a superior marker map for genetic disease studies, providing greater statistical power and cost-effectiveness than standard short-tandem-repeat (STR) marker maps. The panel contains over 6000 highly informative SNP markers distributed evenly across the human genome and delivering high information optimized for linkage mapping studies. The new SNP-based Linkage IVb Panel, integrated with Illumina's high-performance assay and high-throughput BeadArray Platform, has been extensively validated and proven to rapidly generate high-confidence results. The microarray core facility will perform Linkage IVb Panel-based genotyping studies using our high performance Illumina platform and deliver high-quality genotype results within 15 days after receiving anonymized DNA samples. Such studies often take many months to complete by STR-based genotyping methods

HumanCNV370-Duo: $327 (including chip and service) per sample

Each Sentrix HumanCNV370-Duo Genotyping BeadChip can process two samples and genotype > 370,000 loci. Median marker spacing is 5kb. Full service includes amplification, fragmenting, hybridization, labeling, detection (scanning) and data extraction. Minimum 8 samples per order.
