Total RNA Extraction
This service includes quality and quantity check. The starting tissue or cells should be freshly harvested and immediately frozen in liquid nitrogen. Never let it thaw before you send us (on dry ice or liquid nitrogen). Freshly dissected tissues may also be kept in Ambion RNAlater solution at RT or 4C.
Please provide us at least half million of cells or same-size tissues in order to be able to get enough amount of RNA for Microarray.
If you wish for the Microarray Core Facility to extract micro RNA (miRNA), RNA of approximately 22 nucleotides in length, please indicate this request in the “Customer Notes” section of your order.
